Scheduled Maintenance of e-Invoice Services (31 October–1 November 2026)
GST Advisory has been issued for Scheduled Maintenance of e-Invoice Services (31 October–1 November 2026).
- GSTN, in its advisory dated 28 October 2026, has informed taxpayers that certain e-Invoice-related services on the GST portal (https://einvoice.gst.gov.in) will be temporarily unavailable due to a scheduled infrastructure upgrade. The maintenance will begin on 31 October 2026 at 9:00 AM (IST) and end on 1 November 2026 at 1:00 PM (IST).
- During this period, the affected services will include retrieval and processing of e-Invoice data from Invoice Registration Portals (IRPs), automatic population of e-Invoice data in GSTR-1, and downloading of e-Invoice JSON files through the portal and APIs. Taxpayers and other stakeholders are advised to plan their activities accordingly. The affected services are expected to resume after the maintenance is completed. GSTN has expressed regret for the inconvenience caused.
