GST Advisory has been issued for Proven Ways to Take Full Control of Your GST API Access!”. This GST system is continuosly being upgraded to ensure the stronger data security , increased transparency and greater control for taxpayers. Specifically this update addresses data access by Application Suvidha Providers through GST authorized GST Suvidha Providers.
Who is ASP and GSP?
ASP: (Application Suvidha Providers) Third party applications used by taxpayers to interact with GST System.
GSP: (GST Suvidha Providers) Authorized API partners providing secure connectivity between ASPs and the GST System.
Real Time Notification on OTP Consent:
Everytime taxpayers provides consents (via OTP) to an ASP to access their GST data, the taxpayer ‘s authorized signatory will receive instant notifications via Email and/or SMS.
Notification Details:
- Name of ASP and Linked GSP
- Date & Time of Consent
- Consent validity period
Dashboard for Consent Management :
The GST Common Portal dashboard is being enhanced to provide taxpayers with:
- Visibility of Current and historical access by ASP/GSP
- Ability to revoke (Cancel) any active consent provided earlier.
Taxpayer can manage and monitor these consents directly after logging into their GST portal.
