GST Advisory on Amendment of Aggregate Annual Turnover (AATO)

GSTN has revised the timeline for amending the Aggregate Annual Turnover (AATO) for FY 2025-26. Earlier, taxpayers were allowed to make changes to their AATO during the month of May. However, to introduce a new system that automatically updates the AATO based on GST returns filed after the amendment, GSTN has shifted the amendment window to 1 July 2026 to 31 July 2026. After taxpayers submit the amended AATO, the jurisdictional tax officer will review the details between 1 August and 15 August 2026.

Taxpayers should carefully verify the accuracy of their turnover before submitting the amendment, as the AATO is used for various GST compliances. In case of any issues while using the facility, taxpayers can raise a grievance through the Self-Service Portal available on the GST Portal.
